🐾WINSTON NEEDS US NOW MORE THAN EVER! 🐾
Land of Love Rescue and Rehab is asking for prayers, support, and donations for one of our very special boys, Winston. 🐶
If y oh have followed his story Over a year ago, Winston, our sweet French Bulldog, was brought into our rescue after a heartbreaking life of abuse, neglect, and suffering. Once he reached breeding age, he was tossed aside like he meant nothing.
But to us, Winston meant EVERYTHING. 🥹
Within his first three months in our care, Winston endured FOUR surgeries. Four surgeries just to begin repairing the damage from a life where he had known far more pain than love.
And now, our precious boy is facing another heartbreaking battle. 💔
Winston has glaucoma in one eye and corneal degeneration in the other. He is unable to see, and his condition has become so severe that one of his eyes must be surgically removed while our veterinary team does everything possible to save the other.
Right now, Winston is at our veterinarian’s office awaiting surgery. 🏥🐾
The cost of this surgery is extremely expensive, but how do you put a price on the life of a little boy who has already endured so much?
Winston didn’t ask to be abused. He didn’t ask to be neglected. He didn’t ask to be thrown away when he was no longer wanted.
All he ever wanted was to be loved, protected, and given a chance at a life without pain.
And that is exactly what we promised him when he came through our doors over a year ago.
We have fought for Winston before, and we are NOT giving up on him now! ❤️
But this time, we desperately need our community behind us.
