The other part of that G.O.A.T. 🐐 conversation. is known for his unreal athletic ability in a kayak.

Coming from an impressive bloodline of competitors Dane’s father - multiple time World Champion - who started .kayak had him in the water from a young age, and it shows.

Before Dane could legally buy his first pack of ci******es 🚬 he had already won the inaugural Whitewater Grand Prix - a multi stage event featuring all disciplines in a kayak. Dane went on to win the Overall in all 3 of the WWGP’s iterations. This event gave an insight of what the kayaking world was about to witness - Dane’s mastery of all disciplines in a kayak.

In freestyle, he has won World Championships in Sq**rt boat, C1 and multiple 🏆 in K1 senior class, and has over 80 🥇place finishes globally. Dane also pushes the envelope on big wave surfing and is one of two people to get the freestyle boat into a 2nd rotation.

Dane leading the charge of the crew was the first one to step up to the uber gnarly Malupa rapid on the infamous Indus River 🇵🇰, and had the first and last descent (bc water diversion) of 138 foot stout - Salto De Maule 🇨🇱 !!

When it comes to steep creeks and high-stakes racing, Dane has won every major crown available, often multiple times over.

Dane is 4X Champion (and first to break 4 minute barrier). 3X Winner of and close to our heart 4X North Fork Champion in 2021, World Champion 🏆 in 2019, 2017 and 2016. Dane has Also podiumed 7 out the 10 NFC’s, 🥈 in 2022 and 2015, 3rd in 2018.

Without a doubt, Dane is the man to beat at NFC 👑 XI !!

One of probably two kayakers in the game to be in the talk for G.O.A.T. status. But the only thing as sick as the 🐐 is the COBRA 🐍 !!

This kid has made the impossible possible several times in his kayaking career.

Cobra is responsible for CREATING tricks that only the best in the sport will try to mimic for generations. Cobra flip. Orbit flip. Double kick flip.

As unreal as his downriver freestyle is his ability in flooded rivers. He has the solo highest no portage descent of the notorious Grand Canyon of the Stikine 🇨🇦 (~50 mile committed canyon of gnarly Class V+ whitewater - usually done in 3 days) at a mind boggling 600 cumecs. This feat is every bit as gnarly as free solo ascent of El Capitan. He also holds the record speed descent of the Stikine with fellow beasts, brother and at a blistering 4 hours 56 minutes.

Aniol is also atop the waterfall game with first descents of two ROWDY 100+ footers, Keyhole Falls 🇨🇦 - 115’, and Puma Falls - 115’ 🇨🇱, and has also ran Big Banana - 138’ 🇲🇽, Alexandra - 105’ 🇨🇦, Ram Falls 🇨🇦 - 100’. Amongst many other first descents and drops under the 100 foot club.

He also has an incredible racing resume, having won about every competition at some point. Most notably 2018 NFC 👑 CHAMP , 2016 World Champion at Adidas Sickline. Aniol was also voted by his peers 3X Rider of the Year and ROTY in 2018.

Hailing from Clayton GA 🇺🇸, is a gymnast in a kayak. This insanely smooth operator is a technician in the rowdiest whitewater and a pioneer of modern downriver play! Jeremy is nasty on the North Fork Payette having spent countless hours on this river camping above Jacob’s Ladder and paddling Jakes for breakfast on his way to cook actual breakfast at the legendary . In 2021 Jeremys time on the NF paid off as he earned his spot in the Main Event through qualifying, he capitalized on that and placed himself on the podium 🥉 that year. The only thing better than getting on the podium is that NFC 👑 !! Stoked to watch this kid cook 🧑‍🍳 at again at NFC XI !!

NEW SHUTTLE SYSTEM FOR NFC XI !!

We are moving the race to midweek to cut down on the traffic on HWY 55. We are having less parking at the event site and plan on getting people to the river and back to their car with a shuttle system from Smiths Ferry to Jacob’s Ladder Wednesday and Thursday.

ONCE PARKING IS FULL AT THE EVENT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARK AT THE EVENT.

If you want to guarantee a spot to watch the SEMI FINALS AND MAIN EVENT you should go to Smiths Ferry and take the shuttle!

SHUTTLE INFO:
Drive to Smiths Ferry and take a right on Smiths Ferry Drive and follow signs to SHUTTLE AREA.
TIMES:
10 -12:30 PM Wednesday. Final return Pickup 3 PM.
11 - 1 PM Thursday. Final return Pickup 4 PM.
COST:
$10 dollars to get you to the river and back to your car. This will also get you into the NFC Festival area for that day!
*You have to have a wristband to get on shuttle.*

He has been a part of many stout missions, but one of note is a committing first descent of the Mulatos River Ecuador 🇪🇨 alongside .
Earlier this year Driscoll stepped up in a big way during an incredible rain event in the PNW that brought in a couple elusive stouts only a few G’s have stepped up to! He notched the 2nd descent of Big Falls on Big Falls Creek (after legend routed it first in 2018!) with notching the 3rd descent. Driscoll also stepped up to the 3rd descent of ultra rowdy Rattlesnake Falls (after sent it first and 2nd in 2021). Driscoll is also responsible for starting the conversation with the Byrd’s for the return of NFC (and is in charge of setting the Jacob’s Ladder racecourse) so buy him a 🍺 when you see him!

With the crew he takes pleasure on rowdy whitewater like the Sary-Jaz River in Kyrgyzstan and the Ivindo River in Gabon. , the Montucky 🇺🇸 shredder burst onto the scene by taking the Junior World Champion🏆title in Freestyle kayaking in 2007 and never looked back.

Evan has taken his unmatched style to the rowdiest whitewater and gnarliest waterfalls on the planet. He has inspired a generation of shredders not only by pushing the envelope himself, but through the most HYPED films made with fellow legend Fred Norquist () under the and banners.

He has built a legendary resume of historic achievements, a few being… the first person to complete the Royal Flush on the stout Royal Gorge of the North Fork American River in 2010, smashing the Fantasy Falls (gnarly 3 day, 28-mile Class V wilderness trip) speed record with () in 2017 in just 3 hours and 50 minutes.

He is also fast AF, winning the prestigious a record six times and narrowly missing a seventh title this year (by 2 seconds)!

It is wild that he doesn't have a North Fork Championship title yet despite podiuming 🥉 at NFC IV in 2015, and 4th in 2013 and 8th in 2012. Is this the year he captures the NFC 👑, especially now with that legendary DAD strength!!

was raised next to the Ottawa River in Lapasse, Ontario 🇨🇦 and developed his foundation of sick freestyle on these massive rapids. He was a standout in Freestyle and won a National championship as a grom and has multiple Top 10 finishes in the World Championships in the senior division throughout his career. He keeps his freestyle skills sharp on his home rivers but travels the world pushing the limits with the crew. Kalob is always a threat at any extreme kayak race and is at home in huge whitewater as evidenced by placing 5th at NFC IX in 2021 and 10th at NFC IV in 2015. Don’t sleep on this Canadian talent!

We have LOVED ❤️ our 10 YEARS in Crouch. We want to thank the incredible Garden Valley community for a decade of support and treating us like family! In an effort to be closer to the river, we are moving the NFC Whitewater Festival up to Wellington Snow Park in Smiths Ferry, ON the North Fork Payette.

We are STOKED ⚡️ to announce the NEW race format featuring another race on Jacob’s Ladder! Each race will be a progressive qualifier with winners advancing each day.

🏁 Tuesday - Kokatat Qualifier on S - Turn. Open to everyone. Fastest 100 get a second lap.

🏁 Wednesday - Semi’s Sprint - 20 Men + 5 Women advance from Qualifier for a Sprint down Jake’s. Ramp to finish line. No gates. Best of 2 runs.

**Trick Force (NFC X's - Top 10 Men + Top 3 Women) + Voted in Athletes (10 Men + 2 Women) auto advance to Sprint. Totaling 40 Men + 10 Women racing.

🏁 Thursday - Finals Slalom - 30 Men + 6 Women advance from Sprint to Main Event Slalom down Jake’s. Best of 2 runs.

NFC athletes will be prioritized into the NFC Whitewater Festival area with access to early camping, yoga classes, and a sauna + cold plunge to use during the event starting Monday evening!

We have worked hard this year to prioritize our athletes and add perks to their experience throughout the whole week.
