⚾️ 6 OF 6 • BELLE RIVER ELEMENTARY

🎉⚾️ AND THAT’S A GRAND SLAM FOR KINDNESS! ⚾️🎉

Six schools. Five districts. More than 3,300 brand new school supplies. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Our sixth and final bundle has been delivered to Belle River Elementary in Marine City, East China School District, with approximately 550+ brand new school supplies including backpacks, pencils, notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue, pencil boxes and plenty more!

What started with The Players Softball League has officially traveled from the ball field into all six of our selected local schools.

⚾️ One final HUGE thank you to our all star lineup of kindness: The Players Softball League, Micah Wallace Seals, Jeanne Ginzel, Tri Hospital EMS, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Port Huron Township Fire Department, Port Huron Township, R & R Fireworks LLC, Jeff McCrory, and the Port Huron 40 & Over League / Blue Water Slo ball League.

Thank you to the Community Foundation of St. Clair County for its continued support of KH4HK and to every member of our Kind Crew who helped sort, count, pack, coordinate and deliver.

We’re officially 5 for 6! 💚

KH4HK delivered approximately 550+ brand new school supplies to John F. Farrell Emmett Elementary in Emmett, Yale Public Schools, including backpacks, pencils, notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue, pencil boxes and plenty more!

One softball community’s kindness has traveled a long way. Thanks to the incredible efforts of The Players Softball League, more than 3,300 school supplies are being shared among six schools across five districts.

Another school is officially on the scoreboard! 💜

KH4HK delivered approximately 550+ brand new school supplies to Memphis Elementary in Memphis, Memphis Community Schools, including backpacks, pencils, notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue, pencil boxes and plenty more!

The generosity that started with The Players Softball League just keeps traveling. More than 3,300 school supplies are reaching six schools across five districts because a community came together for local kids.

💜🎒 GRATITUDE POST 🎒💜

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Cathee Roehrig & Glenn Evans for another incredibly kind and generous donation to our Homeless Survival Backpack Program!

Cathee and Glenn donated can openers, flashlights, winter hats, socks, and protein packed snacks for our September backpacks, helping us fill some of the needs we have been working hard to complete. 🔦🥫💜

Every three months, it takes nearly 5,000 individual items to fill 100 survival backpacks. We simply could not continue this program without the generosity, compassion, and kindness of people in our community.

Cathee and Glenn are repeat donors, and we are so incredibly grateful for their continued support. 💜

On September 12, our volunteers will assemble 100 Homeless Survival Backpacks that will then make their way into our community to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

Cathee and Glenn, your kindness will become part of 100 backpacks and touch 100 lives. Thank you for continuing to show what human kindness looks like in action. 🎒💜

We are getting close, but we could still use a little help completing our September backpacks. Our remaining needs include duct tape, additional can openers, miniature mouthwash, sleeping bags, and bottled water.

And because this program never really stops, we are already beginning to collect for our December outreach too! Anything donated beyond our September needs will help us get a head start on the next 100 backpacks.

And just like that, we’ve reached the halfway mark! 🧡

KH4HK delivered approximately 550+ brand new school supplies to Millside Elementary in Algonac, Algonac Community Schools, including backpacks, pencils, notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue, pencil boxes and plenty more!

What started on the softball field is now reaching classrooms throughout our community, with more than 3,300 school supplies being distributed to six schools across five districts.

💜🧡 KINDNESS KEEPS ARRIVING! 🧡💜

We have two wonderful donors to celebrate today as we get closer to our September Homeless Survival Backpack assembly!

💜 A huge thank you to Jeanne Ginzel for shipping 100 mini lotions and loofahs for our September backpacks! Jeanne’s continued generosity is helping us make sure our unhoused neighbors receive not only necessities, but items that provide a little comfort and dignity too.

🧡 An equally huge thank you to an anonymous donor who shipped us 24 rolls of duct tape and 60 mini flashlights! This incredibly generous gift filled a significant portion of two important needs and moved us another big step closer to being ready for September 12.

We are so grateful to both of these kind humans for seeing a need and choosing to help. 💜🧡
