I have been contacted by a few attendees of our reenactment concerning the rumor of some.sort of Civil War event being held in Smithland, KY at the end of April.
I have tried to find information on this rumor. I can neither confirm nor deny such taking place.
What I CAN confirm is that, should an event be found happening, it IS NOT "Battle of Smithland " and IS NOT being organized or promoted by US.
We have nothing to do with any event thay may or may not be planned in Livingston County, city of Smithland or otherwise.
If "Battle of Smithland " or my name are referenced for such, please be fully aware WE/I have no connection to anything happening or being planned to happen at this time.
