🍪 FROM COOKIES TO COMMUNITY IMPACT: THANK YOU! 💜

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." — Hebrews 13:16 (NIV)

❤️ INSPIRE | Your support changes lives.

What happens when a community comes together around a shared purpose?

$665 becomes more than a check. It becomes evidence of what we can accomplish together.

We are incredibly grateful to celebrate the conclusion of our July Cookies for Community partnership with Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma!

Rachelle Mendiola presented the Fulfill Within Foundation (image below) with a $665 check from the "Cookies for Community" July Chocolate Chunk Cookie purchases. 🍪💜

Every cookie represented someone choosing to participate.

Every purchase contributed to something greater.

And together, those individual choices became $665 in support of our mission.

🧠 INFORM | Here's why this matters.

At Fulfill Within Foundation, our work is rooted in a simple belief: transformation happens when people know they don't have to rebuild their lives alone.

Through housing support, personal development, financial literacy, life-enrichment services, and community partnerships, we work to help Veterans and others we serve rediscover stability, dignity, purpose, hope, and pathways toward greater independence.

This check represents more than financial support. It represents a local business, its team, its customers, and a nonprofit organization coming together to strengthen the community we share.

That is what community impact looks like.

🤝 INVITE | Here's how you can help today.

Today, we're asking you to do something simple:

Help us say THANK YOU!

Please join us in celebrating and thanking Rachelle Mendiola and the entire Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma team, as well as every customer who purchased a cookie in July.

Leave a 💜 or a message of gratitude in the comments and help us celebrate a community that chose to make a difference—one cookie at a time.

To everyone who purchased, shared our posts, told a friend, encouraged our mission, or simply cheered us on:

You were part of this. Thank you!

And to Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma: thank you for opening the door to partnership, increasing awareness of our mission, and demonstrating what becomes possible when businesses invest in the communities they serve.

$665 raised.
Countless acts of kindness.
One community coming together.

We are transitioners transforming lives. 💜

💜 Every milestone tells a story.

Today, I’m celebrating something much bigger than a fundraising update. I’m celebrating the incredible people who have chosen to believe in a vision rooted in love, faith, and community.

Because of your generosity, we have raised $879 toward the purchase and sustainability of the Worth Realization Home—a place where veterans, youth, and families can find healing, hope, mentorship, and a renewed sense of purpose.

In this video, I share my heart, express my gratitude, and reflect on what this journey has taught me about the power of a community united by love.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, prayer partner, supporter, and friend who continues to walk alongside the Fulfill Within Foundation. You are helping create a legacy of transformation that will impact generations to come.

"Let all that you do be done in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:14

Thank you for being part of this journey. I hope this message encourages your heart as much as your support has encouraged mine.

Hope Grows When a Community Comes Together

**"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." — Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)**

Every Veteran's journey toward healing begins with hope—but hope rarely grows in isolation. It grows when a community chooses to stand together.

Imagine returning home after serving your country only to discover that your greatest battle is no longer overseas, but finding stability, belonging, and a safe place to call home. Now imagine the difference it makes when neighbors, churches, businesses, volunteers, and compassionate individuals come together to say, **"You're not walking this journey alone."**

That is the heart of the Fulfill Within Foundation.

We believe transformation happens through community. Every act of kindness creates another opportunity for a Veteran to rediscover stability, purpose, dignity, and hope.

If you've ever wondered whether your support truly makes a difference, we invite you to read our newest article:

**📖 "It Takes a Community: How Local Support Helps Veterans Thrive."**

In it, you'll discover how ordinary people become part of extraordinary stories of transformation—and why lasting change is only possible when communities unite around those who once stood for us.

This month, we're honored that **Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma** selected the Fulfill Within Foundation as its **July Cookies for Community** nonprofit partner. Throughout July, **10% of every 1-count and 6-count Chocolate Chunk Cookie sold** helps support our mission through this incredible community partnership.

If you're visiting Chick-fil-A this week, consider adding a cookie to your order. Then share this post, read the article, and invite someone else to become part of this growing community of compassion.

Because when a community comes together, hope grows stronger, lives are restored, and Veterans discover they are never alone.

**We are transitioners transforming lives.** 💜

July is a month of community, kindness, and opportunity!
Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma selected the Fulfill Within Foundation as its July Cookies for Community partner.

Throughout July, every purchase of a 1-count or 6-count Chick-fil-A Chocolate Chunk Cookie at the Smithfield-Selma location supports our mission, with 10% of cookie sales benefiting the Fulfill Within Foundation.

This partnership is about so much more than cookies.
It's about neighbors supporting neighbors.
It's about local businesses investing in their community.
It's about creating opportunities for veterans, young adults, and families to rediscover stability, purpose, and hope.
We thank the entire Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma team for believing in our mission and giving us this incredible opportunity to serve together.

If you're planning to stop by Chick-fil-A Smithfield-Selma this month, consider adding a cookie—or a six-pack—to your order. It's a simple way to enjoy a delicious treat while supporting a mission dedicated to strengthening our community.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this video with your family, friends, coworkers, churches, and local organizations.
Together, we're proving that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.

We transform lives as transitioners. 💜

What is Fulfill Within Foundation?

That's a question I've been asked often, and I realized the best way to answer it is to share the heart behind our mission.

Fulfill Within Foundation exists to transform the lives of veterans, youth, and families, build stronger communities, and create a brighter future through service, support, and opportunity.

We believe every person deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, valued, and empowered to move forward in life.

This video shares who we serve, why this work matters, and the vision God placed on my heart to help create spaces where hope, healing, mentorship, and community can thrive.

I invite you to watch, learn more about our mission, and share your thoughts in the comments.

What does a stronger community mean to you?

With love,
Lynette Wortham 💜
