🎉 Big News from Adult Autism Advocates! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to announce the promotion of Trevor Vincent Scott Scherrer to Wildcat Habitat Project Supervisor with the United Food Forest Foundation!
Trevor’s quiet leadership, joyful spirit, and unwavering presence continue to inspire everyone around him. In his new role, he will help oversee the creation of a woodland cave built from reclaimed materials and earth—a forever habitat designed to provide a safe home for six forest cats while demonstrating regenerative stewardship for generations to come. Congratulations, Trevor! We are so proud of you! 💚🌿
We also have two exciting opportunities to build an even stronger, more connected autism community!
🤝 Monthly In-Person Autism Support Groups
Beginning this fall, Adult Autism Advocates will host monthly support groups at St. Luke’s, creating a welcoming space where autistic adults can connect, build friendships, share experiences, and support one another in an environment where everyone belongs.
🙌 Volunteer Opportunity – Smithfield Farmers Market
We’re looking for 1–3 volunteers to help staff our Adult Autism Advocates booth at the Smithfield Farmers Market on Saturday, September 5, from 8:00 AM–12:15 PM.
Volunteers will:
• Help set up and take down our booth
• Welcome community members
• Share information about Adult Autism Advocates
• Distribute flyers to autistic adults and others who may be interested in joining our new in-person support group
If you enjoy meeting people, believe in creating a more inclusive community, and would like to help us reach adults who could benefit from connection and support, we’d love to have you join us!

Together, we’re building a community where every autistic adult is valued, connected, and Always Accepted, Always. 💙🌱
