Tonight, the Smithfield Rotary Club had the honor of recognizing one of our fellow Rotarians, Angela Wildasin Standley Johnson, as a recipient of the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award for her generous contributions and continued commitment to service above self.

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition was established in 1957 by Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International. The award honors individuals whose contributions help support Rotary’s humanitarian, educational, and peace-building initiatives around the world through The Rotary Foundation.

For Rotarians, the Paul Harris Fellow pin is more than an award. It represents a dedication to making a meaningful impact both locally and globally. It reflects the spirit of generosity, leadership, and service that continues to shape communities for the better.

Congratulations, Angela, and thank you for all that you do for our club and community!

We celebrated our 2025/26 Season with a volunteer reception! $84,310 in Smithfield VA Wine & Brew Fest donations. $231,321 for the entire season and our total overall donations to $2,300,240. (14) years & (34) festivals! WOW. Can't wait to launch our next season...stay tuned.....Thanks all our volunteers, sponsors & attendees and to Lijana Photography, LLC for taking this amazing group picture! The new date for our upcoming Mental Health Expo at the Smithfield Center will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. This will be our club's third annual expo for this important cause to bring mental health awareness and resources to our community. All are welcome to this free event!
