We are back! Rehearsals for our new Johnston County Chorus season start tomorrow night, and we cannot wait to fill the room with music again as we prepare for our Christmas concert on December 13! 🎄🎶

Looking for a fun way to express your creativity and meet new friends this holiday season? Our doors are wide open for new singers high school age and older! Whether you are a returning member or thinking about joining us for the first time, tomorrow is the perfect night to dive in. There are no stressful auditions—just a welcoming community that loves making music together.

🇺🇸 Let freedom ring and harmony resound!
Happy 4th of July from all of us at Johnston County Chorus! This weekend, we are celebrating the incredible tapestry of voices that make our community so beautiful.

Music has always been at the heart of our nation's story, bringing people together across generations. Whether you are singing along to the national anthem at a ballgame, enjoying backyard tunes, or watching the fireworks, we hope your day is filled with joy, safety, great company, and gratitude for the freedom we enjoy.

Kick off the America 250 Fair with us this Saturday morning! 🇺🇸🎤

We are thrilled to be performing at the America 250 Fair this Saturday, June 27, at Johnston Community College!

We will join forces with a mass choir of local voices to perform powerful renditions of "America the Beautiful" and "Battle Hymn of the Republic" at 10:00 a.m. as part of the opening ceremony. Arrive early to grab a good spot and hear the sound of all these voices coming together to start the day!

The fair is free, family-friendly, and runs until 4 p.m. with tons of activities:
Living history encampment ⛺️
Parade and live cannon firing 🎆
Art and history displays 🖼️
Puppet show & carriage rides 🐴
Food & craft vendors 🍔
Juried art & photography exhibition 📸

📍 Where: Johnston Community College
⏰ When: Saturday, June 27 | Opening Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. (Fair runs 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

This weekend, we're wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful dads, grandpas, and great-grandpas in our chorus and community! 🎶

We salute the men who have spent decades perfecting the art of the "nap during the soprano solo" and the dads who can instantly project their voice across a crowded room without even warming up.

Whether you are a seasoned bass who has held down the low notes for 40 years or someone who just cheerfully carries the risers after the show, you are our rock. Thank you for decades of love, support, and terrible dad jokes.

🎵 The A Cappellas are taking the stage! 🎤

Our very own small group ensemble is competing in this year's Smithfield's Got Talent, and they need our community's loudest cheers!

We are officially expanding our choir family! This season, we are returning to opening our membership to anyone high school age and up! 🙌

Best of all? No auditions required! If you love to sing, you are in. Whether you are a high school student looking for more stage experience or an adult who just loves music, there is a place for you here.
