There is an opportunity for you to act!

Msny familes request online access to WIC foods and you have an opportunity to send in your comments to congress. It would help families who are in rural areas, whom may have a lot of children and even those families who may be sick and csnt access the grocery store.

Our founder and daughter who is brilliantly on the spectrum advocating at the White House for healthy and sensory friendly food in schools, free lunches for all children and federally funded programs like WIC, SNAP and home visiting programs! Happy school week!

One very important tip to begin the school year is sending your children's teachers a synopsis of your child's background, routines, behaviors and remedies. This will help their teachers know them quickly and help your child adjust with school and the new classroom. We hope this helps!

The ultimate common goal should be to teach cooperation, empathy, conflict resolution, managing emotions, listening and any other tools they need in order to live life comfortably. Now more than ever kids in the community need help. The school year is about to start. We're glad to have the ability to donate to some local children's shelters. Today's stop was Amos House in Providence, RI. Donate clothes and school supplies to the kiddos in need. The Momista is always grateful for giving and lending a helping hand.
