Sam's Eagle Court of Honor will be on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2 pm during the same week that he graduates HS, turns 18 and completes his youth scouting journey. See you in '23!

These are the plaques that adorn Sam's Eagle project. The different troops note the unit change that Sam made during this process. It was a tough decision but one that was made by Sam that will ensure he stays involved in scouting long term. He is grateful to the Scouts and adults of Troop 97 and Troop 2146 for all of their help and support during this difficult process.

Sam will be having a workday on Saturday, 12p-3p, to finish installing the library. Sam is looking forward to completing his project after the long wait for winter to end!

On Sunday 9/26/21, Sam had a workday for his project @ the Haverstraw African American Connection's Memorial Park at 41 Clinton St. Volunteers helped build a bench w/patio pavers and install the post for the Little Free Library. The Library is being reconstructed and should be ready in a few weeks. After that, a dedication will be scheduled and the library stocked w/books. Thank you to members and leaders of Troop 97B and 97G, and leaders from Troop 62 and Troop 2146 for their help! Sam would very much like to thank Mr Somsak Vanichpong who made the referral to the Haverstraw African American Connection, Sam's beneficiary for this project at their park, and their enthusiastic and hands-on support of Sam, and to the Village of Haverstraw.
