It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Holt, beloved PIAA umpire at the Pony and C**t levels. Larry was known to stop a game and give kind advice to a pitcher or baserunner about how to better their game. He would make playful banter with the catchers at home plate. He would teach his umpire trainees in the most respectful manner. You could tell he had a true love for the game of baseball. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. We will miss you, Larry.
