Slippery Rock Tree Fund Many of the downtown Slippery Rock street trees have died or are in great distress. The trees were damaged from the severe winter of 2014, please help.

The Slippery Rock Development, Inc.'s guiding principal is to support economic development with revitalization efforts to aid the downtown in becoming a visitor attraction and place where residents can enjoy living, eating, shopping and playing.

General information

Slippery Rock Development, Inc. is a a tax exempt organization (501c3) under the existing Town-Gown Association so that it can solicit donations for downtown improvement projects. A nine-member volunteer board was formally established, reflecting community leadership. The board meets once a month. Several committees have been set up: finance, fundraising, special projects, transportation, and economic development. Others have been added as needed.
