• No ice chests allowed! The businesses of Olde Towne are footing the bill for this, so please patronize and keep them ice chests home.
• Crawfish prices will be announced about a week prior along with the exact music times.

The off ramp will be reopening shortly and the interstate remains open in both directions at this time. Fire personnel remain on scene monitoring the situation. Please drive safe as there is still a lot of smoke in the area. There are currently no evacuation orders and no structures nor residences in danger at this time.

9:15 UPDATE 🚨
The interstate is now open in both directions. However there is still heavy smoke in the area so drive safely.
The off ramp for I-12 westbound at Hwy 434 remains closed at this time.

The off ramp of I12 Eastbound at Hwy 434 is now closed. Please exit I-12 Westbound at the Airport Road/Northshore Blvd. Exit.

Several streets in Olde Towne Slidell will be temporarily closed on Saturday, February 7, 2026, for the Krewe of Mona Lisa and MoonPie parade. Street closures begin at 2 p.m., and the parade rolls at 7 p.m. Streets will reopen after the parade finishes.

Mona Lisa and MoonPie is one of Slidell’s oldest parades and the city’s first walking parade. Known for its whimsical and artistic flair, costumed revelers with decorated carts toss their signature MoonPie throws. This year’s theme is “Mona’s Myths, Legends, and Tall Tales,” promising lots of creative krewes and a fun, family-friendly night in Olde Towne.

Please plan alternate routes and arrive early to get a good spot and enjoy Olde Towne’s shops and restaurants before the parade.
