St. Tammany Gives Back

St. Tammany Gives Back STGB strives to provide immediate relief supplies to communities affected by disasters. Every moment counts in a crisis.

Inspired by the support our community receives in our own times of need, we want to pay it forward fostering hope, resilience, and compassion to communities in need. STGB is a nonprofit organization committed to delivering immediate relief supplies to communities affected by disasters. Founded on compassion, we understand the urgency of support during crises, inspired by the profound impact of com

munity assistance we experienced ourselves. As a grassroots organization, we work to mobilize quickly to provide essential resources—such as non-perishable foods, clean water, and medical supplies. Our success depends entirely on the generosity of our community, including monetary and in-kind donations, as well as the willingness of individuals to volunteer their time. By collaborating with local agencies and community leaders, we assess needs and deploy aid effectively. Our immediate support alleviates suffering, fosters hope, and creates a ripple effect of compassion, empowering individuals to recover and rebuild. We believe that by supporting one another, we can cultivate a stronger, more compassionate society. Join us in our mission to make a lasting impact and transform communities in their times of need.

**Happy Thanksgiving to all of STGB**

We are truly humbled and inspired by the overwhelming generosity and spirit of giving that you have shown to our organization. Your contributions embody the true essence of grassroots giving—neighbors helping neighbors, communities coming together, and hearts united in a shared purpose of paying it forward to those in need.

Because of you, we can reach those who need us most. Your support doesn’t just provide relief; it brings hope, comfort, and the assurance that someone cares. Whether it’s a donation, a kind word, or simply sharing our mission with others, you’ve made a difference, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

Thank you for believing in us and standing with us. Together, we are not just making an impact—we are building a stronger, more compassionate community.

I have been waiting to post the videos and results of yesterday afternoons mission.

I know we have shared footage of the very real devastation that is still present and crippling for many communities here, but yesterday afternoon’s mission was a little bit different and allowed for a little bit lighter side to the ongoing work still being done.

This is a series of videos of the journey from start to finish, and I waited to have them all in hopes that you all that are St Tammany Gives Back would be able to see all of this journey.

Hope you enjoy it as we did!!!

******UPDATE 01 November 2024*****

Good evening St Tammany Gives Back, it is Friday Evening here in NC.

This is the fifth and final video series of our trip today. Once we got to Black Mountain, our final destination for the day is Swannanoa and the impacted areas along the Swannanoa River.

All of the areas we have been to have people impacted there that are part of the church community we have adopted, or is a community that the church we adopted has partnered with to help ensure the widest possible dissemination of relief supplies.

This area looks like a third world country, a war zone of epic proportion.

God Bless each and every person here.
