A full day of learning, connection, and community impact!

Leadership Northshore Class of 2027 experienced an inspiring Social Services Day led by BMIC Joshua Wichterich, 2nd BMIC George Dupuis, and LNSAA representative Amy Glenn. The class explored the work of local organizations and nonprofits that advocate for our neighbors and meet vital needs throughout our community.

Then led by Curriculum Chair Michele Blanchard, the class received a lesson on poverty and the importance of listening and thoughtful decision-making.

A heartfelt thank you to Rainbow Child Care, STARC of Louisiana, Inc., COAST - Council on Aging St. Tammany, Community Christian Concern-Janet's Korner Thrift Store, and Nola Lagniappe Room / Nola Southern Grill for hosting us throughout the day!

We’re also grateful to Children's Advocacy Center-Hope House, Safe Harbor, KiDS, Truth in Nature, Rotary Club of Slidell, Rotary Club of Slidell North Shore, and Leadership Slidell Northshore Alumni Association for sharing your missions, experiences, and opportunities to serve with the Class of 2027.

As LNS C/O 2027 gears up for Social Services Day, BMIC Joshua Wichterich is excited to lead the class through a packed day of learning, connection, and community awareness!

A local artist and children’s book illustrator, Josh is passionate about advocating for children, supporting the arts, living out “Service Above Self,” and celebrating everything Slidell. 🦋

Josh can’t wait to hang out with the class, meet the people behind the organizations serving our neighbors, and explore how compassion becomes action. Get ready for a day of meaningful conversations and inspiration to make a difference! 🙌

💡 Big ideas start with teamwork!

Leadership Northshore’s Project Skills and Information Night was filled with learning, group participation, and preparation for the merging of groups.

The Class of 2027 brought their skills, talents, and creativity as they prepared to present their project ideas. With each step, they’re learning how to bring their strengths together and turn inspiration into community impact!

We can’t wait to see what they’ll create together!

Happy Friday! 🎉 After a long week, getting together with your tribe sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Lucky for the Leadership Northshore Class of 2027 and our alumni, we got a head start on Wednesday!

After the class wrapped up its first official day, everyone gathered to celebrate. Our alumni / Leadership Slidell Northshore Alumni Association met the newest class, shared a few laughs, and raised a celebratory margarita to the year ahead.

If you see your class in one of these pictures shout out the year and the class name! Let’s reconnect and vibe even if it’s living vicariously through a picture.

Class of 2027, you’re off to a great start, and the alumni are glad to be along for the ride!

🎭🎨 A day for the history books—literally!

Leadership Northshore’s Arts, Culture, & History Day took the Class of 2027 from bayou adventures to creative discoveries, with BMIC Sarah Hill leading a packed schedule!

The class explored Slidell’s history with Slidell Museum Curator Greg Scott, brushed up on etiquette with Dawn Klepfer, and enjoyed a bayou tour filled with history and thrills led by Charlotte Lowry Collins and Tom Collins!

A huge thank you to Sharron and Bill Newton for welcoming the class into your beautiful home on the bayou! 💙 The hostess with the mostess!

Then it was time to trade familiar territory for a little creative courage! Led by Donna Bach, the afternoon invited classmates to step outside their comfort zones through music, writing, theater, and visual arts. There’s nothing like trying something new to discover a talent you didn’t know you had while collaborating🎶✍️🎭🖌️

Curriculum Chair Michele Blanchard brought the day to a close with the final learning sessions. And an After Hours Social at Carretas with LSNAA!

Thank you to CECA / Cutting Edge Center of the Arts for hosting the afternoon, and to charlotte Lowry Collins & Tom Collins, and Tiffany Parker for sharing your talents and guiding the class!
