Announcement about how we collect dues.
Military Veterans Advocacy® & Blue Water Navy Association™ has recently changed the way we accept payments. If you were previously enrolled in a recurring payment plan to pay your monthly dues or continued donations through Flipcause that has been cancelled so there should not be any further charges through that system. We are now using Pledge It. If you would like to continue to make membership payments or donations, please visit our website or click the link below to do so on our new system.

It is very sad on how soon we forget what Military Veterans Advocacy® & Blue Water Navy Association™ has done for Veterans. We were the ones that enabled Blue Water Navy Veterans to start to receive benefits, not the Big VSOs, they didn’t win the Procopio Cases, WE DID.
We were the ones that wrote the Toxic Exposure part of the PACT ACT, not the BIG VSOs. If it wasn’t for us winning the Procopio Case, this would never have passed.
As you know in the past, we have made trips to Washington DC to try to get bills passed in Congress. Well, that may come to an end. By the end of the year, we may end up closing down.
Why is this? Because we are not getting the support we need. Our Membership is down 50% of what it was last year. Donations are down. People have started to receive their benefits and have figures they no longer have a need for us, BUT they forget who got them their benefits. It’s sad. I know there are many that make sure they pay their dues to the Big VSOs each year and they either don’t know or have forgotten what the Big VSO did to hurt many Blue Water Navy Veterans by supporting the passing of the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019. After winning the Procopio Case, that bill was no longer needed, and as a matter of fact it may have hurt some Veterans because the Big VSOs didn’t read the whole thing. There was a door open for us to expand the area covered that they did not read.
What can you do, please either join or rejoin our membership, only $35 a year. Make a donation, so us that you appreciate the work we are doing including trying to expand the area to include the whole Vietnam Service Medal area. We can’t do this without your help.

As you know we were able to get the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019 and The PACT ACT passed in Congress, I think a lot of people thought we would stop there. Well, we haven’t. We are working hard on trying to get the line moved in Vietnam from where it is now, 12 Nautical Miles from Demarcation Line to where it was before 2002 which was the Vietnam Service Medal Line.
As with the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019 and The PACT ACT we need your helping in getting it done. We would like you to contact your members of Congress and ask for support for a bill doing this. We are working on finding a sponsor for a Bill, so if we can get your help in getting the word out to everyone and let them know that you want this done, it will help. If we get a sponsor and a Bill Number, we will post it on our pages.
Please call or email your member of Congress so we can get this done so we can get more Blue Water Navy Veterans covered for VA benefits.

As many of you know that the Blue Water Navy Association™ has a list of Deck Logs that it has verified to comply with either the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019 or The PACT ACT. We now have a version that can be accessed by everyone. This version shows if the ships was in Vietnam, Thailand, Guam, American Samoa, or Johnston Island. Most of this list I have personally verified, and we have around 9000 on the list.
It includes All Types of ships including Subs.
If your ship is missing and you have proof that the ships were within one of these areas, please send it to me so I can verify it and add it to the list. Everything on the list must be verified.

All right; this is an ALL HANDS working party. We need your help. We are going to put together a FAQ page. We need your help in doing this.
Please send me questions you have asked, want to ask or have seen asked, send them to me by either message or email [email protected]. Remember, there are No Dumb Questions. If you are thinking it, more than likely at least 5 others are also.
These questions can be about MVA, BWNA, the VA, Bills we are working on, Bill we worked on, the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2018, the PACT ACT, Section specific, etc. You name it.
After we get a bunch of the questions and we get answers to them, I will start posting the file.
