HOW IT WORKS
Food 4 Kids St. Tammany works in conjunction with St. Tammany Parish Schools. Our area schools provide the number of children who are in nutritionally “at risk” situations in our elementary schools.
Food 4 Kids St. Tammany then provides nutritional sustenance for each child on Friday. The items sent home with the child will provide additional food for children living with limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe food. This initiative assures each child and family the dignity of anonymity while striving to relieve hunger.
