KiDS Kids in Development St. Tammany (K.i.D.S.) Kids in Development Slidell (K.I.D.S.) was created as a class project of the Leadership Northshore Class of 2023.

The purpose of K.I.D.S. is to establish a perpetual program that provides free car seats to families who struggle with the ability to obtain a car seat for newborn infants in East St. Tammany Parish. The seats will be procured with funds from fundraising events, such as A Storybook Kind Of Day event, and donations. K.I.D.S. is establishing rapport with local organizations already ingrained with Ea

st St. Tammany Parish to identify and coordinate community needs. Parents of the child will be required to complete an installation and safety training session provided by a certified child passenger safety technician to receive a car seat.
