We aim to exhibit our members, educate the public about print, and share ideas, techniques, and opportunities. Offering free membership pending application review, we are an open-minded and broadly inviting group. Despite our non-exclusive attitudes, we attract and consist of premier artist printmakers from the greater Lehigh Valley region of Eastern Pennsylvania, and are proud of our extensive an

d experienced family of active members. Printmaking is the art of producing images through techniques of mechanical transfer. The resulting fine prints, rendered individually by the hands of technically proficient artists are considered original works of art, even though they can exist in multiples. Types of original fine art printmaking include:

Woodblock Relief Prints
Linoleum Cut Relief Prints
Lithographs
Silkscreen Prints (or Serigraphs)
Etchings
Engravings
Mezzotints
Monotypes

Printmakers Society of the Lehigh Valley members! We are very excited to announce our next member’s exhibition will be in the Community Gallery of the Allentown Art Museum. We are scheduled for March 19-March 29, 2026. A prospectus is on our website (link in bio) and will be circulated to members by the end of December. You do need to be a current member to exhibit - if you’ve been considering applying for membership, now’s the time. Get those carving tools, brayers, and presses working!
