Helping hands received a food donation from Slater & Sheldahl United Methodist Churches today, thank you to community partners who help keep necessities available to those in need through the blessing box!!
The Helping Hands Blessing Box needs supplies to help food insecure kids and families right here in our community! The Blessing Box is a free little pantry in Slater, a resource that can be accessed at any time of any day by anyone. Community members are welcome to place food and household consumables directly in the Blessing Box, and anyone can access those items if they need a helping hand! The Blessing Box is located in the Hammond Estates Mobile Home Park in Slater, at the T intersection of Teak and North streets, right between two white garages. “Take what you need, Give what you can!”
