Keep your ears open. Such a shame someone would steal from kids

I am disappointed to report some bad news that occurred over the July 4th weekend. Someone has stolen the batting cage nets at Covered Bridge Park. This cage is used by the entire organization of 500+ players. I am not sure what type of person steals from a youth baseball non profit, but shame on you! Your day will come & karma takes care of those like you.

There will be a small parade for the 2025 CWL Biddy A Champions at Slatedale at 4:30 going through Slatedale. Come on out and cheer on the kids. Also we want to say a great, hard fought game to the Slatedale Knee- high team who took it to the wire and the Emerald Midget team on a hard fought game both bringing up the runner up position.

GOOD MORNING NORTHERN LEHIGH!!! It’s championship day for the Central Whitehall Baseball League. Come on out today to Moore Township Athletic Association and watch the Northern Lehigh Youth Baseball biddy, midget, and Knee hi teams all compete for their respective championships!!! Congratulations to all of the players for making it to the final game!!!

Welp… it looks like Saturday is going to be an exciting day for Northern Lehigh Youth Baseball.
Slatedales Biddy team won against NW tonight 13-3 puting them in the championship game. Emeralds Midget team beat Salisbury 15-5 tonight putting them in the championship game. And possibly the biggest story of the night… Slatedale Knee hi team knocked off the undefeated 1 seed North Parkland tonight 5-4.

NL midget Emerald VS Bowmanstown 10:00 am
NL Knee Hi Slatedale VS Salisbury 1:00 pm

After multiple hours spent on the field yesterday getting it ready for last nights playoff games Mother Nature ended up with the upper hand. However we have a great community in Northern Lehigh and with one phone call we were able to move our games to Emerald Playground Association. Thank you to Chad Christman and Megan Shiffer for the last minute rush to get the field ready to host our double header last night. Also thank you to all of the coaches who gave it their all to try and dry our field after the late afternoon rain storm.

Biddy: NL-14 Moore-0
Knee Hi Blue: NL-10 Hokey-1

Knee Hi White was slated to play at Salisbury last night but unfortunately got rained out and will play Saturday.

Tonight begins playoffs for the 3 slatedale teams. Congratulations to all on your regular seasons and we would like to wish the teams the best of luck in their playoff journeys!!! We have a double header tonight at Slatedale as the biddy team takes on Moore township at 5:30 and knee high faces Hokey at 7:45. Knee Hi white will be traveling to Salisbury for their first game tonight as well. The weather looks like it is going to hold off and we look forward to seeing you all at the fields tonight. Snack Stand will be open for food and refreshments!! GO DAWGS!!!

With only a few weeks left in the regular season I would like to say congratulations to all of the teams out at Slatedale this year. Slatedale biddy, NL blue and NL White. Watching these kids and young men play tells me the future is looking bright for NL baseball. Thank you to Northern Lehigh Youth Baseball and Central Whitehall Baseball League for putting programs together to allow these young athletes to play the sport they love.

It was great to see everyone out last night at the Knee High Home Opener, and we look forward to seeing you all there again tonight, as our NL Biddy team takes on the Northwestern Tigers @ 5:30pm. Don’t forget to stop by our snack stand for some treats while you watch the game!!

Backstop completed, foul pole installed in left field, bases a fresh shade of white, and the snackstand is stocked and sanitized. All of the makings for a great opening day tomorrow. Come on out at 5:30 and watch the two slatedale knee-hi teams face off. A special thank you to Ryan Phillips, Jeremy Mack and Tanya Ahner Kromer for spending part of their Easter finishing some of the work that needed to be completed. Happy Easter everyone and we hope to see you tomorrow for our home opener!!! ⚾️
