For the girls who stayed in Chicago this summer, NCSY 4 Girls! arranged a weekly Chabura learning series led by an advisor. Once a week, the teens met at the NCSY office and learned the book ATTACHED, exploring how to develop a meaningful and deep relationship with Hashem. The girls definitely “Raised the Bar” this summer! 📖 🩷

4GJr Gives Back- and in a big way! With a lull in between formal camp programming, NCSY 4 Girls! Jr stepped in with Chesed days, allowing girls entering grades 6-8 to give their “chill” summer days some purpose and meaning. They partenered with Chai Lifeline Midwest and decorated beanies for children in hospitals and going through treatment and made friendship bracelet kits for bat mitzvah projects. They partnered with Chicago Mitzvah Campaign and cooked in their United Bikur Cholim kitchen, helping prepare meals for people in the community in need. And they partnered with ChesedChicago to help organize their massive clothing store, to help make the “shopping” (read: FREE) experience offered to clients a pleasant one.
We’re so proud of these mitzvah girlies!!! 💞 👏 😊
