Skaneateles Winterfest Enjoy Skaneateles Winterfest Jan 24-25, 2025 conducted by Skaneateles Sunrise Rotary!

The annual Skaneateles Winterfest will take place on January 27th and 28th, 2023. The event, hosted by the Skaneateles Sunrise Rotary Club, allows all to enjoy a winter weekend in the Village of Skaneateles. The free Fire Ice Tower returns on Friday, January 27th in Clift Park near the Gazebo. Saturday, January 28th schedule of events : 11:00 until Feb 5th Scavenger Hunt, 11:30-2:30 Taste of Skane

ateles (passes sold in business district), 1-1:30 free Ice carving demonstration (near Gazebo), and Ice Walk with more than 20 ice sculptures in the business district.

Winterfest Scavenger Hunt continues to Sunday, Feb 8th. Print a copy of the entry form (both front and back) at https://skansunriserotary.square.site/ or grab a paper copy at the Skaneateles Area Chamber Of Commerce or Skaneateles Community Center. Enjoy gathering letters among 30 amazing ice sculptures. Submit correctly solved form with $5 donation at the Skaneateles Community Center by 5 pm Feb 8th. Donations fund Community Center scholarships.

Donations to Skaneateles Sunrise Rotary for passes remain unchanged at $20 individual, $30 couple, and $40 immediate family. Advance passes sold at the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce. Pass sales start at 11:30 am Saturday, Jan 31, at outdoor tables on Jordan and Genesee Streets and the Sherwood Inn.

Attention Laker Class of 2026 parents, grandparents, etc. Skaneateles Sunrise Rotary seeks four juniors to attend the 42nd Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference at SUNY Oneonta from June 29 to July 2, 2025. Attendees join 90 other students to live, work, and play to together to learn about and develop leadership. RYLA is free. Applications are due at the guidance office by May 7th. Applications and information are available at the Skaneateles HS guidance office or contact Chris Legg at [email protected]. Applicants must be entering their senior year in September.
