🏠 CLOSING DAY 🏠

We closed on our new property today, and we could not say it enough... THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible! Lives will be changed because of this growth, and we can't wait to tell you all about it over the next several months (and beyond).

Some of our current staff and residents are moving in this evening, and we'll be onboarding new residents at our main campus over the next week.

Already, we feel the tides shifting. Excitement and anticipation are growing among our staff and residents. God is working, and He has so much in store for men seeking recovery and freedom.

Facebook friends, we need your help!

For our annual BBQ fundraiser this Fall, we want to turn it up a few notches. In addition to our BBQ plates, we're hoping to provide live music, refreshments, and other vendors/activities.

If you know someone local (preferably Pickens County) who may be interested in participating, comment or tag someone below OR email Lyndy Schonhar at [email protected].

The men of Legacy Home are working hard — showing up to jobs, giving back through service projects, and building connections in our community. The only thing slowing us down? Getting there.

We're hoping our Legacy Home family can help us find a passenger van. If you or someone you know is looking to donate a vehicle or pass one along, we'd love to connect. A van means more opportunities, more growth, and more men taking the next step in their recovery.

Something exciting is taking shape at Legacy Home. Our staff and residents are building a brand new classroom/gathering space with their own hands.

There's something deeply meaningful about the men of Legacy Home being part of building the very space that will serve them.

It's all a perfect metaphor of recovery: that you can build a strong foundation if you're willing to put in the work.

A huge thank you to GBS Lumber in Six Mile for donating the materials that made this possible. This is what community looks like.

Stay tuned for the big reveal! 👀

At our Struggle to Strength event, we made some big announcements:

🌱 The Legacy Home is growing! We are purchasing a new property down the street from our current house that will serve as transitional housing.

💰 Allen Crick (pictured) announced that The Jerome Crick Foundation will match every donation up to $100,000 to go towards the purchase of this property.

🌡We raised $70,000 at the Struggle to Strength event, which means we're only $30,000 away from maximizing this generous match!

Make a donation today at www.legacyhomerecovery.org/donate to make this dream a reality. Your impact will be doubled through the Jerome Crick Foundation's match.
