Wondering how to find a caregiver to help you remain in your own home as you age? Maybe you're in your seventies and can no longer perform simple home repair tasks? Have you put off writing a will because you'll never need it?

Come to a Senior Resource Fair at the Sisters Firehall next Tuesday, February 17 from noon-2pm and chat with 24 experts who can help you envision aging in place at home with safety, grace, and some advance planning. Don't wait until you break a hip to figure this all out!

The free event is sponsored by Serving Our Seniors (SOS), a group of fellow Sisters "older adults" working with Age Friendly Sisters Country and Citizens for Community.

Mark your calendar for Saturday night, April 5 to sing with your Sisters people at The Belfry. Doors open at 6 for mingling and a special early event, with the main act The Low Bar Chorale on stage at 7. Offer a ride to someone who doesn't get out often. Brush up on those Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young hits and get ready to "teach your children well." Admission free at the door but donations to support AFSC's work in the community are welcome.
