Northern Door Pride NDP envisions community growth by taking "being yourself" to the next level. Whether it be masculine, feminine, or anything in between, all our welcome!

Mission Statement: To inspire the community to be the best version of themselves by embracing everyone, promoting self-acceptance, and providing a safe environment to do so. With so much fear of the unknown, prejudice towards those who are deemed as different, toxic masculinity, and the horrible division in this world, we hope to do our part to eradicate these downfalls in our community.

​To embrace oneself, one must embrace all sides of the spectrum. There are no playing roles or fitting molds. Its all about being you, and staying true.

​NDP wants to give back, support, and help those in need. Bringing people together for the common good is our goal. Through throwing fun and themed events, to gathering a group of people who need to feel safe and loved, and raising funds for charity, Northern Door Pride hopes to become a beacon of hope in Northern Door County, Wisconsin.

NDP is happy to support a New Community Storytelling Series, “So anyway...” which is a new program of Write On, Door County. In its inaugural event, Owen Alabado (president and founder) will be one of the storytellers.

Everyone has a great story to tell. Some are funny. Some are poignant. Some are unexpected. And some are the stories we tell again and again because, somehow, they capture something essential about who we are.

On Wednesday, October 21, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., be part of the launch of “So anyway...”, a new free community storytelling series with the inaugural event at The Tambourine Lounge, 59 N. 2nd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. “So Anyway…” is a new program of Write On, Door County. The first “So Anyway...” event is free and open to everyone. No registration is required—just show up and enjoy an evening of stories. All donations benefit the Steel Bridge Creative Foundation.

“So Anyway...” celebrates the stories that life has always been built on—the stories told around the dinner table, over fish boils, on front porches, at family gatherings, and across coffee shop tables. These are the stories that make us laugh, make us think, surprise us, and remind us that we are more alike than we realize. The series will be offered quarterly at venues throughout Door County, with a brand-new lineup of storytellers at each event. There are no required themes or topics. The only requirement is that every story begin with the words “So anyway...”

October begins tomorrow! And you know what that means, it is the month of our annual Halloween Event. This year's theme is Cowboys vs Aliens: A Halloween Hoedown. DJ Brawny is back. There will be Line Dancing being taught starting at 6pm. Costume Contest. W**e and B**r served to those 21 and Up.

Please go and support our friends to the south! This Saturday. Martin Park. 10am to 5pm.
Amazing entertainment including DJ Tim Walters spinning throughout the day and live performances by The Band Spot, DC Choir, Johnny Delorit, Zephyr Ciesar, Dorothy Scott, Cathy Grier + The Troublemakers, FrogFurr, and Katie Dahl.
Enjoy food trucks, a b**r & beverage tent, local vendors, Pride merch, and hands-on activities like Arts & Crafts, What’s My Pride?, Games in the Park, a 50/50 raffle, and an Art Tent featuring family-friendly fun all day long.

They will also be honoring community voices with an opening ceremony from Colleen Bins of Chief Oshkosh, the Proclamation Reading, the presentation of the Sandy Brown Award, and the IDEA Student Scholarship.

It’s a day filled with visibility, creativity, and connection. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our 6th annual Pride event is today! We have a lot of fun activities planned for you all. Our Pride walk begins at 4 PM with making signs at the Peach Barn and walking down to the Sister Bay Hall. The doors open at 5 o’clock where will we will have face painting, bubbles, and rainbow making for the kids. Our NDP raffle is going to be full of amazing prize packages. W**e, b**r, and seltzers will be provided for those who are over the age of 21. Our land of Oz concert begins at 6:30 PM and after that we will go into our adults only dance party with DJ Brawny . This is a free event. Donations are welcomed. We hope to see you tonight to celebrate Pride in our community.
