Coro Dulce (our 2nd-3rd grade choir) had their first rehearsal last Tuesday and we are thrilled to have our largest Coro Dulce choir yet with nearly 30 singers!! 🥳👏🏻

They are living up to their name “Sweet Choir” by making some sweet musical sounds already!

Coro Allegro (4th-6th) 2026 Retreat! 🎶

What a fun day with our Coro Allegro singers! ❤️ We spent the day working hard on music for our Winter Concert, getting a head start on some exciting songs, playing games, laughing together, and already making new friends!

These singers are already becoming such a wonderful team, and I love watching their friendships and confidence grow alongside their musicianship. 🥰

We’re SO excited about what’s coming for our Winter Concert! 🎄🎶

🎶✨ Coro Allegro (“Joyful Choir”)✨🎶

If you have a 4th-6th grade singer who LOVES to sing, make music with friends, and is ready for a little more of a challenge, we would LOVE to have them join Coro Allegro, the oldest choir of the Sioux Falls Children’s Choir!

Coro Allegro singers have the opportunity to experience so much more than a weekly rehearsal. Throughout the season, our singers may have opportunities to:

🎤 Bond with each other at our annual Coro Allegro Retreat (Saturday, Sept. 19th)
🎄 Sing at special holiday events and community celebrations
🎶 Collaborate with guest artists and other musical organizations (ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THIS COMING SOON!)
🏛️ Perform at special venues and community events
🌟 Represent the Sioux Falls Children’s Choir at unique performance opportunities
🎼 Grow as confident, expressive musicians while working on more advanced choral music
❤️ Build friendships with other young singers who are just as passionate about music

And perhaps best of all? Coro Allegro is a place where singers are challenged AND encouraged. We work toward musical excellence while creating a joyful, supportive environment where every singer can grow.

If you know a 4th–6th grade singer who would thrive in Coro Allegro, please send them our way! No previous choir experience is required!💙
