If every follower teaches just one person, together we can ensure that Gold Star Families are never forgotten.
🇺🇸⭐ THE GOLD STAR CHALLENGE ⭐🇺🇸
One of the most surprising discoveries during the 2026 Ride to Honor, Respect and Protect was how many Americans were unfamiliar with the terms Gold Star Mother and Gold Star Family.
Throughout our journey, we estimated that approximately 75–80% of the people we spoke with had either never heard the terms or were unsure of their meaning. That was both surprising and eye-opening.
⭐ Don't know what a Gold Star Family is? Take a moment to learn—and then teach someone else.
As we traveled nearly 950 miles from Bloomingdale, Georgia, to Washington, D.C., we met people from all walks of life. Many had never heard of Gold Star Families, reinforcing the importance of continuing to share their story and sacrifice.
Today, we challenge you to help change that.
⏱️ Take one minute this week to teach someone what a Gold Star Family is.
Talk to:
👨👩👧👦 A family member
👧 A child or grandchild
👫 A friend
👩💼 A coworker
Because it is never too early to teach the next generation about service, sacrifice, and the freedoms we enjoy today.
When you do, come back and comment:
⭐ "I Shared the Message."
Michael often said throughout the ride:
"I am simply the messenger."
Now it's your turn to be the messenger.
⭐ If every follower teaches just one person, together we can ensure that Gold Star Families are never forgotten.
🇺🇸 Freedom is not free.
⭐ Their sacrifice should never be forgotten.
