The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 15 are proud to be organizing a group of volunteers on Saturday, April 25 from the Legion Family to participate in the Big Sioux River Clean Up, an event put on by the City of Sioux Falls. This effort is part of our recognition of Legion Family Day and our continued commitment to serving our community.

Members can report to the Legion meeting room (1700 W. Russell) at 9:30 AM for light snacks such as juice, coffee, and sweet bread. Transportation to the cleanup sites will be provided if needed. At the Legion, participants will have the opportunity to complete waivers and receive the necessary bags and gloves.

Following the clean-up, all Legion Family members and their guests are invited back to the Legion Hall for a light grill lunch from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, provided by Legion Auxiliary Unit 15.

Free will donation jars will be available to help defray the costs of refreshments and the meal.

We hope to see you there as we come together to make a positive impact in our community!

The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 15 were proud to present a check for $350 to Sioux Falls Legion Auxiliary Unit 15 in support of Girls State last night at the Auxiliary meeting.

Supporting our nation's youth is one of the three pillars of our mission, and we are honored to help invest in the next generation of leaders. Programs like Girls State provide young women with valuable experiences in leadership, citizenship, and service.
