Armand’s intake video is one of our most viewed videos. I think seeing such a small puppy in such deplorable conditions, attempting to survive on his own, yet wagging his little tail, hit people in the feels.

Armand was one sick little boy, but we got him all fixed up and now he’s living the good life with his new Daddy!

Our princess Rita has embarked on the final leg of her healing journey…she’s going home!

Rita left us yesterday morning and is currently on her way to her forever home in CA. I am happy to report that Rita has been adopted by a long time SHF follower and friend.

We will miss Rita and her sweet disposition, but it’s her time now to be a puppy, and enjoy all the wonderful things that life has to offer.

Thank you to everyone who helped us help Rita and bring her little family into the world (Hoodoo and Voodoo, her two babies, were adopted together and live here in Sioux Falls, SD).

I’m still here living’ the good life in South Dakota! Momma has been really sick so she hasn’t been posting on any of her pages. I told her that I’m in the most photogenic stage of my life, so she promised to do better.

Her safe place was a bag of trash. She survived alone on the streets of Mexico until she was spotted by Patricia S., who shared her picture with me. It took a few months, but Persephone has transformed into a beautiful girl.

Our work is done. Persephone is fully healed and will now begin the search for her forever home, with her new rescue.
