South Dakota Ballet

At the conclusion of the 2026 Summer Intensive, South Dakota Ballet proudly hosted its annual scholarship ceremony, a celebration of the dedication, artistry, and promise of the region's young dancers.

In a heartfelt gathering honoring both talent and hard work, the organization awarded over $1,500 in scholarships to support these students as they continue their training and pursue their passion for dance.

Each recipient was recognized for their commitment to the art form and their potential to grow as artists, and the awards will help provide access to the classes, intensives, and instruction that shape the next generation of ballet artists.

South Dakota Ballet is honored to invest in these dancers' futures and looks forward to watching them flourish in the years to come. The following scholarships were awarded:
- One 5-Class Pass to Broadway Dance Center in New York City
-Two scholarships to Dance Network of South Dakota's annual convention (This year the program will take place November 21 & 22 in Mitchell, SD)
-Two scholarships to South Dakota Ballet's 2027 Hip Hop + Contemporary Lab (June 2027)
-Three scholarships t oSouth Dakota Ballet's 2027 Summer Intensive (June 2027)
