The Avera Race Mustang is Back in Action!

Our Avera Race Mustang made a special appearance at the Colton Country Days Parade on Saturday, July 18, and it was great to be part of the fun in Colton, SD!

Keep an eye out—you never know where the Mustang will show up next. Watch for it in your community as we begin gearing up for another exciting Avera Race Against Cancer season.

A huge thank you to Dairy Queen in Pierre and their incredible customers for raising an amazing $2,920.25 through their Round-Up Campaign benefiting the Avera Race Against Cancer.

Not only is this an incredible gift to local cancer patients and programs—it’s also their largest Round-Up total ever!

To the Dairy Queen team and every guest who chose to round up—thank you for making a meaningful difference. Your generosity shows just how strong our communities are when we come together.

After losing her own hair during breast cancer treatment, an Aberdeen stylist is now helping other patients regain a source of comfort through Avera’s new free wig salon….

BIG NEWS!

For the first time ever, the Avera Race Against Cancer has officially raised more than $1 million!

Thanks to our corporate partners, participants and donors, we had already shattered fundraising records before an anonymous donor offered to get us across this monumental finish line. This monumental milestone was celebrated on Friday morning with Avera Cancer Institute staff and patients at the Prairie Center in Sioux Falls.

A huge thank you to all who helped us achieve this amazing accomplishment.
