We are humbled by this incredible testament from Deacon Mara Stillson with Church on the Street. We are grateful for our collaborative partnership! Sioux Falls Simplified has gone above and beyond to share our story. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Without Bread Break's help in rescuing that food – that would otherwise have gone to waste – Church on the Street likely wouldn't be able to run its food pantry at all, Deacon Mara Stillson said.

Summer has come to an end, but we wanted to thank MarketBeat and The Levitt Sioux Falls for allowing us to table at one of their concerts this year! Board members Linda Brekke and T.R. Fuentes-Mckenzie helped out by visiting with folks. A beautiful and fun evening spent with others in the community!

Bread Break staff attended the SD Specialty Crop Producers "Sow the Connection" conference this past week in Sioux Falls. It was a great way to meet local food producers that we can assist with food recovery. Board member T.R. Fuentes-McKenzie is a great connector for us in the local foods space!

Sammons Financial group recently hosted a Sioux Empire United Way fair, and since Bread Break is a new non-profit partner we were able to interact with nearly 50 employees and many other nonprofits. We are grateful for our partnership with Sammons and Beth Abbott's service on our board of directors.
