This video was taken a few years ago but still does a great job explaining what a Gathering is - check it out to learn a bit more about what we have been talking about lately!

The only difference is we now refer to Great Gatherings as our large fundraising event, with individual Gatherings as the family or teacher-hosted event/experience she is explaining.

Support Spanish Immersion. Make a lasting impact.

Great Gatherings is more than a community celebration. It's PASI's largest annual fundraiser, helping provide meaningful support for our international intern program, teacher grants, and programs that directly benefit Spanish Immersion students across Sioux Falls.

We're inviting local businesses and community partners to help make that impact possible through sponsorships of Great Gatherings 2026!

Three sponsorship opportunities are available:
⭐ Platinum Sponsor — $1,000
⭐ Gold Sponsor — $500
⭐ Silver Sponsor — $250

Every sponsorship helps us invest in the teachers and international interns who enrich our students' educational experiences.

Whether you're a local business, a Spanish Immersion family with a business, or simply someone who believes in the value of our program, we'd love your support.

Interested in becoming a sponsor? Register here: https://cbo.io/app/public/bidapp/greatgatherings26/tickets/tix

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for our Spanish Immersion community.

💜 Help us say "Bienvenidos!" as new teachers join our community 💜

Every year, teachers and their families relocate from around the world to enrich our schools and bring authentic language and cultural experiences to our students. Many arrive knowing very few people and with only the essentials.

That's why we're relaunching the Bienvenidos Team (previously known as the Welcome Wagon) — a group of volunteers dedicated to helping new teachers feel welcomed, supported, and at home in Sioux Falls.

There are several ways to get involved:
🚚 Movers – Help unload furniture and household donations.

🚗 Transportation Helpers – Provide occasional rides while teachers get settled.

❤️ Friendship Families – Share a meal, celebrate holidays, or simply help a new family feel connected to our community.

No matter how you choose to help, your kindness makes a difference.

Interested in joining the Bienvenidos Team? We'd love to have you!

Attn PASI families! We have several new teachers moving to our incredible community and need some extra support. We have an immediate need for next week - beds, dining table, chairs, couch, kitchen items, blankets, pillows, etc. We would also take gift cards.
