🎉 WE ARE OFFICIALLY BBR SANCTIONED! 🎉

I am SO excited to officially announce that our October, November & December races will be BBR sanctioned! 🔥

If you haven’t purchased your BBR membership yet, I’ll have memberships available at my races — but you can also join online!

To qualify for the BBR Finals, you need 8 qualifying runs, and our races will provide 6 of those 8 runs!
That means you’ll only need 2 additional qualifying runs, so be sure to check out Smashin’ Cans OR the NFR Pattern Lincoln Run to get those last runs in!

I am SO excited to bring BBR to our neck of the woods and give our local racers another opportunity to chase a spot at the BBR Finals in Oklahoma!

And yes… I’ll be chasing it myself and planning to head to Finals in April!

Looking for honest feedback! ❤️

As many of you know, Hustle Home in Huron was my first attempt at hosting a large multi-day barrel race. I was incredibly grateful for the support, turnout, and encouragement from everyone who came.

Like any first-year event, there were plenty of lessons learned, and I’ve already got a list of things I’d improve to create an even better experience for contestants.

I’d truly love the opportunity to host another event at the DEX, but it’s a highly sought-after venue, and my options for booking in 2027 are limited.

So I’d love to hear what you think—and I promise, no answer will offend me. Your honest feedback will help me decide where to focus my efforts.

Currently, there are already three barrel racing weekends scheduled at the DEX in May 2027, so that month isn’t really an option.

THIS DOES NOT affect my winter series I will still be hosting one run a month at Lazy S3 in Parker, SD October - April 🙂

What would you like to see?

1. A Hustle Home weekend at the DEX in June or late October 2027.

2. There are already enough large races at the DEX, and you don’t feel there’s a need for another one.

3. POSSIBLY Bring back a weekend event at the Sioux Falls Expo Building.

Thank you so much for taking my expectations of the first large scale race I would produce and exceeding it so much.

If you requested a check they have all officially been mailed!

Venmo requests- I have sent roughly half of these and reached $5,000 in payouts in 24 hours so i am locked right now but will be allowed to make payments again tomorrow...so if you haven't gotten a venmo HOLD TIGHT i haven't forgotten...they just want to make sure I'm not a scammer 😝

Paypal and venmo are a team so paypal is also holding tight at the moment but again i will ensure everyone on the list is paid ASAP!

If you DID pick up a check from the table over the weekend I do ask that you let me know so I try not to double pay anyone!

Thank you all one more time for a weekend I will never forget!

The grace, kind words and personal messages/texts truly have meant the world to me. Those messages are what keep me going when I feel defeated. So thank you!

This weekend, I know I fell short as a producer in some areas.

On Saturday alone, we had 20 PeeWees, 20 Futurity horses, 216 Open runners, 50 Pole Benders, and over 150 exhibitions. That’s a tremendous number of horses, riders, and moving parts, and while that isn’t an excuse, it is the reality of what we were managing.

First and foremost, I want to say thank you. Thank you to every contestant, family member, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who chose to spend their weekend with us. The turnout exceeded anything I could have imagined, and I am incredibly grateful.

I can never promise that I won’t make mistakes. Producing events means making hundreds of decisions, and sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. What I can promise is that when mistakes happen, I will own them, learn from them, and do everything in my power to make them right.

Hustle Home was built because I love this sport and the people in it. I take every concern, complaint, compliment, and suggestion seriously because I want every event to be better than the last.

Thank you for your patience, your grace, and your support this weekend. I am listening, I am learning, and I am already working on ways to improve for the future.

Most importantly, thank you for giving Hustle Home a chance. We wouldn’t be here without you.
