Time flies when you're having fun! It's hard to believe it's already been a week since our ArchWeek for Kids event. We've spent some of that time posting additional educational resources on the AIA SD website. Guests who joined us for our build activities and Ask an Architect session that day got a sneak peek. One week from today, AIA South Dakota will host ArchWeek for Kids: A free, public event with hands-on activities and a chance to learn about architecture and design from some of our members who live and work in our communities. Bonus: We'll also use the event to unveil the first few line drawings from AIA SD's coloring-book project, which highlights selected buildings and artistic structures across the state! Please join us from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Washington in downtown Sioux Falls. Volunteers from AIA SD and our partners at Nawic Greater Sioux Falls #237 will be on site to talk with kids and parents about design and related careers.
