Sioux Falls Oxford House...Who Are We?

Self-Help for Sobriety Without Relapse. This was the purpose of the first Oxford House established in 1975, and this purpose is served, day by day, house by house, in each of over 2,000 houses in the United States today. And now, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The first Sioux Falls Oxford House will be open the summer of 2019 and will have the ability to house nine women. This house has been a vision of Rebecca Hungerford’s ever since she lived in an Oxford House during her early recovery in Omaha, Nebraska. Sharing this vision of helping others find successful sobriety is friend, Rebecca Skinner. And with the support of Rebecca Hungerford’s parents, Carolyn and Dan, they began the search for a house they could transform into the perfect home for people in our community looking for a safe and supportive environment - in most cases, following treatment, jail or drug court. A place to serve as a bridge from early recovery to sobriety without relapse.
