We’re sharing an important update: after careful consideration, our Board has made the difficult decision to dissolve Lost&Found. This was not made lightly and reflects deep care for our mission, staff, and community.

Our programs will continue during this transition as we partner with aligned organizations to ensure they carry forward with strength and expanded support. We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters, whose generosity has made this work possible.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that none of this work is meant to be done alone.

This past weekend, Lost&Found was honored to be part of the Movement for Mental Health Fun Run/Walk in Mitchell alongside Tegan’s Light and Rooted 23.

Events like this matter because connection matters. Collaboration matters. When organizations, advocates, and community members come together with a shared goal of supporting mental health and su***de prevention, we are able to create a greater impact together than any of us could alone.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to walk, run, connect, share stories, and remind others that they are not alone. ✨

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor the brave service members who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

For many veterans, military families, and loved ones, this day can also carry grief, reflection, and difficult emotions in deeply personal ways.

At Lost&Found, we believe connection, compassion, and checking in on one another matter every day, especially on days that may feel heavier than others.

Today, Scooter's Coffee locations in Sioux Falls, Tea, Brandon, and Harrisburg are helping raise mental health awareness by placing Mental Health Awareness Month stickers on drinks featuring a QR code that connects people to resources and information about Lost&Found. 💚

A huge thank you to Kristen & Travis Rhoades, the local owners of Scooter’s Coffee, for partnering with us and helping spark important conversations around mental health throughout our community.

The World's Only Corn Palace is lit up green for Mental Health Action Day today. 💚

We’re grateful for the opportunity to help shine a light on the importance of mental health, connection, and support in our communities.

Mental Health Action Day is a reminder that awareness matters, but action matters too. Checking in on someone. Starting a conversation. Learning how to support a friend, coworker, student, or family member. Those moments can make a difference.

Last week, Lost&Found’s Lana Loken joined Rooted 23 and Tegan’s Light at Woonsocket School District to talk with students from Woonsocket and Sanborn Central School District about mental health, support, and the importance of staying connected. 💚

Throughout the morning, students heard personal stories, learned about available resources, and were encouraged to look out for themselves and those around them.

These conversations matter. Creating spaces where young people feel safe talking about mental health and reminding them that support exists can make a lasting impact.
