🌱 Want to help shape the future of South Dakota soybean farming?

The South Dakota Soybean Association is looking for soybean growers interested in serving on the SDSA Board of Directors.

Board seats are up for election in Districts 1, 2 and 7. Serving on the board is an opportunity to represent fellow farmers, advocate for South Dakota agriculture and have a voice on issues and policies impacting soybean producers.

📍 Elections will take place at the SDSA Annual Meeting on December 2 in Sioux Falls.

📅 Applications are due November 25.

🌱 China has been buying U.S. soybeans ahead of the U.S.-China Summit between President Trump and President Xi on September 24.

China previously committed to purchasing 25 million metric tons (MMT) of U.S. soybeans, and Michelle Rook reports that purchases have now reached roughly half of that commitment.

U.S. farmers are hopeful China will follow through and purchase the full 25 MMT.
