At Bor Hope Foundation our foundation’s mission is to lay the groundwork for the people of Bor in South Sudan with Christ’s love by seeking to help people receive education and medical help through medical missions. Through strategic partnerships, we are seeking to aid children in receiving secondary school education from the refugee camps in South Sudan and Uganda.
Due to being resettled into refugee camps, the organizations aiding the families being resettled do not provide opportunities for education. Therefore, many families cannot afford sending their kids somewhere to be able to receive a high school equivalent form of education. When children are not able to have an opportunity to receive education, they stay in the refugee camps with no opportunity to find work or to make a living. The secondary school boarding schools we are seeking to help children attend through monetary support are located mostly in the region around Kampala, Uganda. One specific school that these children could potentially attend would be Taibah International School, a private, co-educational, non-denominational day and boarding school. For more information about this school, search https://tis.ac.ug online.
Our goals are:
•Giving scholarship to Orphans and refugees
•Medical mission and Church planting
•Provide shelter to refugees and single parents
As a foundation, we appreciate Celebrate Community Church and many others churches that will give Refugees children a hope to to join school through your love of Christ and your missions of open doors, open hands, and open hearts.
All in all we believe that Celebrate Community Church plus others Churches would be a gracious partners to potentially join us in our mission to see children from the displace camps in South Sudan & refugee camps in Uganda offered a chance at going to school.
