Join the South Dakota 4-H and SDSU School of American and Global Studies for a day of learning how your voice matters in local governments. Youth will explore how local government operates through hands-on activities, real-world simulations, and conversations with community leaders.

When: November 7th 10:00 - 2:30 PM
Where: Mitchell, SD

Registration is $5 per participant and limited to 25 participants aged 13-18. Registration deadline is November 2nd.

THIS SATURDAY: Kick off the 4-H year with Youth Livestock Literacy at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds (27711 HWY 17, Lennox) on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 9:30 a.m. Attendees will learn about calf health and beef carcass quality using cupcakes! Join us for an hour of learning and fun! Arrive from 9-9:30 a.m. We will start promptly at 9:30.

Today is the day!! We will be at the Minnehaha County 4-H office from 3pm-6pm!

TODAY's THE DAY: Minnehaha & Lincoln counties will host a Consumer Decision Making, Family & Consumer Sciences Skillathon and Horticulture Skillathon on Monday, Oct. 12 from 3-6 p.m. at the SDSU Extension Sioux Falls Regional Office (4101 W. 38th St., Sioux Falls). Come check it out!
