Welcome, Paul!

Welcome to the new LPGSD Executive Director!

Lutheran Planned Generosity of South Dakota is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Knecht as its new Executive Director, succeeding Kathy McHenry, who is retiring after nearly ten years in the role.

Paul brings more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience to LPGSD. He most recently served as Executive Director of the South Dakota Dental Association and Dental Foundation, leading both organizations since 1998.

Please join us in welcoming Paul — and in thanking Kathy for a decade of dedicated leadership!

Great way to support our partner ministry, Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota!

Lutherans Outdoors is launching our Iceland Adventure Raffle.

This fundraiser supports the Camp for All Fund, which provides scholarships so kids and families can attend camp regardless of financial circumstances.

One of our LPGSD ministry partners making a difference--give us a call if you'd like to know more about how your legacy can impact the lives of great kids like Keegan!

The best version of yourself is possible when you’re SAFE. Keegan is a good kid—bright, caring and trying his best to navigate a world that had started to feel unsafe inside his own mind. By seventh grade, the challenges he faced were bigger than what his family and school could manage alone. His family reached out to LSS for help and were connected with Canyon Hills Center, a residential treatment center for youth in Spearfish.
