Please join us in congratulating one of our own, Jax Thomas, on advancing to the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Finals in the 11/12-year-old baseball division!

Jax’s journey began in June when he won the local Pitch, Hit & Run competition at the Birdcage in Sioux falls. He then went on to win the Regional competition at CHS Field in St. Paul, earning him the opportunity to represent the Minnesota Twins at the MLB Finals!

After months of waiting for competitions to wrap up at all 30 MLB stadiums, along with Puerto Rico, the finalists have been determined. Only the top five competitors in each age division advance to the finals! Jax has earned his place among the best in the country, making this an incredible accomplishment.

As part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, Jax will receive an all-inclusive trip to Milwaukee, including attending Game 2 of the World Series! The athletes will also be recognized on the field before the first pitch before Jax competes Sunday morning at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers.

🏆 Competition: Sunday at 8:30 AM CT
📍 Location: American Family Field, Milwaukee, WI
📺 Watch live: Fans can follow the competition in real time through GameChanger, with MLB streaming footage expected to be available afterward.

What an incredible achievement and unforgettable experience! We are so proud of Jax and excited to see him represent Sioux Falls Little League on baseball’s biggest stage. Best of luck, Jax! ⚾👏

⚾ Seeking Board Members ⚾

Do you want to make a positive impact on our local baseball community? Sioux Falls Little League is looking for three additional board members to join us for the upcoming season!

Our league depends on dedicated volunteers who are passionate about providing a fun, safe, and rewarding experience for the kids in our community. Board members play an important role in helping our league grow, supporting our families and volunteers, and making each season a success.

You don’t need previous board experience—just a willingness to get involved, share ideas, and help make a difference! The Little League Board seat is a 3 year appointment with 8-12 required monthly meetings.

If you’re interested in being part of the team behind Sioux Falls Little League, we’d love to hear from you. Please send an email to [email protected] by 10/30/2026 and include your name, address, telephone number, and provide your vision for the growth of Little League in Sioux Falls and 1-2 ideas or improvements that you would like to see for the league.

Thank You,
Sioux Falls Little League

With the LLWS currently going on, we wanted to take the time to make everyone aware of a new policy we're putting in place for next season.

Kids must sign up to play SFLL for their 11U season, to be eligible for the 12U All-Star team. In other words, you have to play with SFLL at age 11 and age 12 in order to be eligible for 12U All-Stars. If the 12U season is your first season with SFLL, you will not be eligible for the All-Star team.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of summer and keep an eye out in the coming months for next year's sign up details!
