🎒 Back-to-school season is the perfect time to give back!
Fourteen Girl Scouts from Troops 40943 and 42003 saw a need in their community and decided to help. They set a goal to fill 30 backpacks for local students, but together, they filled 82! 🙌
Each backpack was packed with pencils, notebooks, markers, glue, folders and other school supplies before being donated to three Sioux Falls elementary schools.
We love seeing Girl Scouts notice a need, take action and make a difference in their community! 💚

💚 Thank you, Huron Eye Clinic, P.C.!
We’re so grateful to the nine volunteers from Huron Eye Clinic who spent their United Way Day of Caring giving back at Camp Woodlands in Huron, SD!
The volunteers cleared deadfall from the camp’s 20 acres, deep-cleaned and organized the lodge, and made improvements to other camp facilities. 🌲✨
Their hard work helps make Camp Woodlands a welcoming place for Girl Scouts to gather, explore, learn, and make memories.

Remembering a true original and one of our Girl Scout sisters. 💚

A Lifetime Girl Scout, Dolly believed in the power of confidence, kindness and possibility. She opened doors for others through her generosity, created joy for generations and showed that leadership can look like boldly being yourself while using what you have to make a difference.

Her music made her an icon. The way she lived made her a role model.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding generations of girls that so much is already within them, and that with the courage to try, they can do a whole lot. 💚
