African Regional Coordinator Martin Luther Osse and Chief Medical Director Troy Tompkins are in the West African nation of Guinea Bissau this week evaluating a potential new ministry partner. You can see this visit requires some real traveling adventures. The doctor is providing medical care on an island.

An extremely bittersweet post from us today as we share news of the passing of one of the titans of Luke Society support, Mr. Frank Vogel of Orange City, Iowa, who met his Savior in Glory on June 4.

Frank’s support for the Luke Society went far beyond the dollars and cents he donated — and there were many. He was a true ambassador for the Luke Society everywhere he went. Frank lived his life as the very definition of what it means to store up your treasures in heaven.

Frank would regularly say, “The Luke Society was one of the best investments I ever made.”

Well done, good and faithful servant! You have made your Savior proud, and your Luke Society legacy will live on for decades to come!
