What a fantastic turnout for our first Happy Hour at East Campus! Thank you to Wayne Lee's Music and Memories for providing amazing entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Volunteerism has always been at the heart of what we do, and we're excited to expand opportunities for adults 55 and older to make a difference in the Sioux Empire. Through programs like Meals on Wheels, Medicare counseling, transportation assistance, and caregiver support, volunteers help strengthen our community while building meaningful connections of their own.

This past week, our CEO, Betsy Schuster, and our Nutrition and Facilities Director, Rebecca Behnke, were honored to participate in panel discussions at the National Meals on Wheels Conference, joining leaders from across the country working tirelessly to address the growing challenges facing Meals on Wheels providers.

At Active Generations, we’re committed to pairing compassion with innovation. Through a grant from the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, we’ve transformed our Meals on Wheels operations with a custom-built technology system that improves coordination, reduces administrative burden, and helps our Meals on Wheels team focus on what matters most: serving homebound seniors.

Every delivered meal is more than nutrition. It’s a reminder that no one should feel alone.

We had a blast celebrating National Pickleball Day! We tested our skills in accuracy challenges and competed in King of the Court games. The courts were filled with energy and great sportsmanship all day long. Thank you to everyone who came out to play, cheer each other on, and help make the day so much fun.
