At SDFMC, team members play a unique role in the work we do for Medicaid, but all are focused on the same goal – making sure decisions are thoughtful, timely, and impactful. We are proud to highlight Tiffany!

✨ Tiffany Weidner, CAC
✨ How does your role make a difference for South Dakotans?

“In my role, I help make sure South Dakotans struggling with substance use can access the level of care they truly need. I support people in getting into treatment at the right time—helping individuals, families, and communities move toward recovery.”

✨ Why is this work important for Medicaid members?

“This work is important for Medicaid members because it helps ensure they can access the treatment they need, when they need it. I help make sure services are medically appropriate and covered, which supports better recovery outcomes and reduces barriers to care.”

Thank you, Tiffany, and to our DSS Medicaid team for the work you do every day to support patients and providers across South Dakota.
