Thank you to Dakota News Now for covering the 4th annual wreath laying out at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery! Two edits to the story:
-510 wreaths were laid this year, not 706 as mentioned in the story
-All wreaths are sponsored by individuals and businesses using funds generated specifically for Wreaths Across America each year - no funds designated for flights through the Midwest Honor Flight were used. They are a partnering organization and help to facility much of the wreath sponsorships alongside the Civil Air Patrol.

Those who participated came from many different backgrounds but were unified in their goal to honor and remember those who served.

A big THANK YOU to all the sponsors who made this year's Wreaths Across America possible out at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery! Because of these sponsors, more than 500 wreaths will be laid on Saturday to Remember our fallen heroes, Honor all those who have served, and to Teach future generations the importance of the freedoms we have and how they've been preserved over time.

The wreaths have arrived! We thank everyone who contributed for the 2024 Wreaths Across America Day taking place this Saturday at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery! Together, we’ll honor more than 500 Veterans who have been interred since 2021 when the cemetery opened. Join us at 11 AM at the committal shelter on Saturday, December 14 as we once again Remember, Honor, and Teach.
