Coach Spotlight ✨

We're excited to share that SoDak Juniors coach Kellsie was recently featured by the Junior Volleyball Association in a Coach-to-Coach educational video on teaching the jump float serve.

Kellsie has a passion for skill development and helping athletes master the details that lead to long-term success. We're grateful she is willing to share that knowledge not only with our players, but with coaches across the country.

Today we celebrate Vivian Johnson and Zoey Hall, our nominees for the 2026 JVA Girls All-National Team.

To be nominated for this recognition means being identified as an athlete who excels not only in volleyball, but also in academics, leadership, and character. Being considered alongside some of the best players in the country is a tremendous achievement.

Vivian and Zoey have each made a lasting impact on our club through their commitment, work ethic, leadership, and love of the game. We couldn't be prouder of the example they set for younger athletes in our program.

We're just a few weeks away from kicking off our Summer Volleyball Programs, and we'd love to see our gyms filled with athletes ready to learn, compete, and have fun.

From beginner players to experienced athletes preparing for school tryouts and fall competition, our summer sessions offer something for everyone in grades K-12.

Our t-shirt order will be placed soon, and registrations received after the deadline may not receive a program shirt.

📣 Exciting News from SoDak Junior Volleyball!

We are excited to announce the appointment of **Gina Goblirsch** and **Ciarra Wagner** as Co-Club Directors of SoDak Junior Volleyball, replacing retiring Club Director, Kristina Newell. To ensure success and a seamless transition, Kristina will start shifting duties to Gina & Ciarra in early July, with a goal of having everything in place by September 30th.

Gina and Ciarra have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our club, our athletes, and our mission. Both began their SoDak Juniors journey as assistant coaches and have served as head coaches for the past two seasons, earning the trust and respect of athletes, families, and fellow coaches along the way.

As Co-Club Directors, they will continue to advance SoDak Junior Volleyball's mission of helping **young women grow through competitive volleyball while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, leadership, and respect both on and off the court.** Their vision is centered on continuing to build a positive experience for athletes while strengthening the impact of our club throughout the communities we serve.

The SoDak Juniors 16-2 National team got some team bonding in before the Kairos Pre-National Playdate this weekend! The girls are getting to know each other better, learning to quickly work with each other and starting to gel. Excited to see what this team brings to AAU Nationals next month! 💪🤩

After four and a half incredible years of leadership and dedication, SoDak Juniors announces the retirement of Club Director Kristina Newell as the club prepares to enter its fifth season. 🎉

As one of the driving forces behind the founding and growth of SoDak Juniors, Kristina played a pivotal role in building the club from the ground up. 💙 She helped cultivate a culture centered on athlete development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community. 🤝 Her passion for the sport and unwavering commitment to our athletes and families have made a lasting impact—one that will continue to shape the club for years to come. 🌟

While Kristina will be deeply missed, she leaves behind a strong foundation for continued success, and we are excited about the future of SoDak Juniors. 🚀
