We greatly appreciate the partnership we share with the South Dakota Highway Patrol and South Dakota Motor Carrier Enforcement. SDADA and SDTA were proud to once again sponsor the 14th Annual Inspector and Trooper of the Year Luncheon.

We are fortunate in South Dakota to have dedicated law enforcement professionals who work tirelessly every day to keep our highways safe. The strong working relationship between the trucking industry and law enforcement is built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to safety.

Congratulations to all of this year's award recipients. Your professionalism, dedication, and service are truly appreciated!

Thank you for your patience as we gathered and organized photos from our Convention.

We were thrilled to host another successful convention at the Catlin Hotel by Hilton in downtown Sioux Falls. Members enjoyed valuable discussions focused on the needs of our industry and the future of the Association, along with plenty of opportunities to connect and celebrate our accomplishments.

Congratulations to Bob Beadle, recipient of this year's Chairman's Award, in recognition of his outstanding service and dedication to the Association.

We also extend our congratulations to Travis Vesely, who was honored as the 2026–2027 Franchised Dealer of South Dakota.
We invite you to browse the photos below and relive some of the highlights from this year's event.

If you weren't able to join us this year, be sure to mark your calendar now for our next convention in Deadwood, April 21–23, 2027. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are sad to announce that Keith Stobbs, Miller, SD, passed away yesterday.

South Dakota Automobile Dealers Association was fortunate to have Keith and Carol as such a dedicated part of the organization.

Keith´s commitment, friendship, and involvement touched many throughout the industry, and his presence will truly be missed by all who had the privilege to know and work with him. Our thoughts are with Carol and their family during this difficult time.

Services are pending at this time.

We truly appreciate the connection you’ve built with the auto tech students. Our industry needs talented young people like them — and they’re fortunate to have an instructor like you who inspires them to thrive and succeed.

Please help us congratulate Rickie McCaulsky, Automotive and Diesel Mechanics Instructor at the CTE Academy, who was named the 38th Annual Dr. John W. Harris Teacher of the Year tonight! 🥳

Now in his 14th year with the Sioux Falls School District and a 24-year U.S. Army veteran, Rickie is celebrated for creating a hands-on, high-expectation classroom where students rebuild engines, solve real-world problems, and gain the confidence needed to succeed in the automotive industry.

Congratulations, Mr. McCaulsky! 👏
